Philippa Nestie is an ‘alter ego’ of UK based fine artist Marie Hyde.  Conceived in 2014 with experimentation of look and feel Philippa was ‘born’, slightly older than the artist she exudes a ‘no-nonsense’ approach to the ‘ever changing and complicated world we now live in.’

She is ‘invisible’ as ‘no-one seems to notice her…’. Invisible because of perceived age and severe ‘lack of style’, Philippa challenges the outside world on a number of levels, from ageism, to ‘past her sell by date’ in fashion and concept, Philippa is a trouper who refuses to conform and remains resolute to her own personal ‘manifesto’.
