I ‘need’ my ‘Fashion Fix’!
So ironically, just as I posted a reflection of my deflated feelings regarding Fashion One’s Bridal ‘Special’ last Weekend, I clicked on to the Channel later that day when nothing appears except…a black screen with “This Service is Currently Unavailable”. What? Where has it gone? Whoa..! A TV channel can disappear with no warning? No ‘build-up’, in a nutshell nothing…what on earth is going on here? 
Much dismayed by this event, I scoured online and found nothing..at all…whatsoever as to why…I even looked on their Facebook page (and I don’t ‘do’ Facebook) and they are posting as though nothing has happened! I even emailed them earlier this week but no-one responded…it seems this is the way with the modern ‘digital world’. In a sense you can become, or are invisible and ignored, or maybe missed, possibly ‘swiped’ past??
Though I must say I find it rather extraordinary that this is the case, back in those ‘halcyon days’ of my childhood, if a program was changing schedule etc, there would be announcement, a warning, a general courtesy to the viewer..which does not seem to exist anymore. Neither it appears does anyone seem to care! No wonder some individuals rant online, I even contacted the TV provider and no response..does silence ‘speak volumes’ ?? All I know is this would not of happened or would ‘wash’ in my day. Indeed! And..help! I need my ‘Fashion Fix’, even if it was rather rubbish at times. 
But ‘hold the front page’ I have found a temporary ‘succour’ on the Showbiz Channel a programme called ‘Fashion Memoir’, which it seems was made around 10 years ago (?) though the graphics look strangely 1980’s (wonder why..?). Therefore I feel so exhausted now, and forget a ‘high latte’ & a custard cream, I think I need a solid replenishing fruity cake and an expresso, pronto!
