A sad demise…
Yet another Charity Shop ‘bit the dust’ I discovered this week, and I was very sorry to see it go. It was small with some very friendly volunteers and I used to look forward to going and ‘having a chat’, they even let my dog in (which is getting rarer these days unfortunately…). I wouldn’t always find anything…but that was ‘by the by’ as it were…I just liked the fact it was there and now it’s gone. So no more friendly chats in a dog friendly zone, I will miss it on my daily travels. I only hope I find a replacement to fill it’s void, but well that seems unlikely at present. Though it’s not all ‘morose’ my last items from there are pictured here, two pairs of vintage tights to add to my collection! One with a ‘reinforced body and diamond gusset’ good grief! And I’ll make that a ‘large espresso’ in some vintage tights please! With a ‘reinforced pantee’ to boot! So no messing there and…no nonsense! (Hee, hee). Also a ‘rain and wind visor’, very handy this week for those summer blasts! So I bid ‘adieu’ and R.I.P. dear Charity Shop I’ll see you no more…
