It may be boring, it may be safe but I was heartily glad that my local Charity Shops are offering an array of items in my favourite ‘go to’ colour beige. I don’t know if it’s ‘in’ or ‘out’, I really don’t care as long as I can get ‘comfy’ in my ‘natural armour’. It’s just great for blending in and not standing out, and I’ve noticed that some of the beige items I found veered into gold, a bit more of a daring direction! So how’s about the beige fur hooded coat and wear it with the gold platforms and bag? Now that adds another dimension/edge to this neutral classic.
Let bring in the metallic’s to add some dimension to this beige mood…
Of course if you really want to stay on the safe side…how about the tan bag and shoes I found? Or the dark brown ankle boots? All will work, and I found a rather fun fake fur coat with dark brown belt and a whole selection of beige/ brown/gold tone bags! So let’s not knock this much-maligned colour, it really is the best for that ‘invisible’ touch!
I think the fake fur coat is a ‘keeper’!
Why make life difficult, when it can be easy? You can move around, browse to your heart’s content and not get too noticed in this homely ‘quaint camouflage’. Though if you do want to stand out from the crowd, and grab some attention this is not for you, but well if you don’t…it opens up a whole ‘new world’ of possibilities that you might not anticipate….!? Try it and see this biscuit colour certainly works for me! Ahh!
