Walking tall…

I can’t say I’m really the one for high heels or whether they’re ‘trending’ right now, but it’s not escaped my notice shoes and boots of very high heels have made a strong appearance in most of the Charity Shops near me. Also most of them are in very good condition probably been worn only a few times…and by looking at either how high or spiky they are I can understand why…obviously they not very…’comfortable’?

They may be shiny black and have spikes unfortunately they off my radar…

They may be shiny black and have spikes…unfortunately they are permanently off my radar…

Glad to know that I’m not alone on that front, as I’ve never acquired the skill of ‘walking tall’ through artificial means…and as I seem to possess ‘wobbly’ ankles they are not a good idea healthwise. Of course looking at these type of shoes various stereotypes leak into my mind such as ‘tranny’ and ‘lap-dancer’, although that might indeed be true it ‘ain’t necessarily so’! So I salute those who can wear them to reach the ‘dizzying heights’ they offer. Although now rejected by their original owners, they all now have a second chance of adding some drama dimension and glamour for that special occasion…and even though I will definitely not be taking part (mainly on the grounds of preventing a major accident…) I’m just going to stand back at ‘medium height’ and ‘watch the show’…only from my ‘safety net’ of two inch shoes at the max!

Glitzy sparkly spikes are still not tempting me…
