Make-up or not…a memorial to Farah + more…
This is a shot of my current make-up bag…(I know you’re jealous already..) a bargain from recent times at the princely sum of 50p. It features a Cosmo cover of Charlie’s Angel’s legend Farah Fawcett with her trademark bright white smile and thick blonde luscious locks. No wonder she became a worldwide name back in the 70’s, ‘the time of my youth & freedom’ this does make me nostalgic…I am struck by the ‘Fearless Female’ line, which aptly describes her battle with cancer in which she sadly lost and passed away in 2009. So when I look at this bag I feel connected not only with my youth but with her fighting spirit and beauty.
But enough sadness for now, I am seriously thinking about doing a ‘Master Make-up Class’ to improve my make-up skills (I know there is ‘little room’ for improvement…!) there are a few on offer at groupon etc, I like the idea getting an informative work-shop for a ‘bargain bucket price’, but I have not made my decision yet..& I won’t be persuaded by ‘fancy brands’ when Constance Carroll will do just a good job from my experience! I say look again! at make-up brands as so many of them are a total disappointment & wear off in a matter of hours (not value for money nor a good look) so I will mull over this idea and see whether this experiment is going to make or break my ‘final reveal!’
