Tiddly Pom
It’s round and fluffy and usually very colourful it’s the Pom-Pom! Now ‘everyone’ knows Pom-Poms have been very big in fashion recently so the fact that they are on beach bags (now reduced by the way) is not that surprising. We are now use to seeing Pom-Poms on winter wear and accessories, but my recent search shows there is no need for them to be excluded from the summer ‘fayre’.
Beach, bag, pom-pom!
The fact that they are furry and fluffy has been put to good use, so is it my ‘imagination’ but are Pom-Poms featured on traditional sombreros? As I do have that in my head…I think the application on beach bags works particularly well, sort of adding to the ‘fun and frivolity’ of beach visits. Pom-pom keyrings have been around for a little while…so it’s good that they are now being given a new ‘lease of life’. So why the sudden interest in Pom-Poms? I say why not? I mean it’s a bit like ‘silly news’ it adds to the interest of well…not a lot on offer, with retail space sadly diminishing by the day…my mind got ‘distracted’ and I took a few shots as there was nothing ‘different’ or ‘exciting’ to see…Well I might be ‘scraping’ the fashion barrel, but going back to ‘silly news’ isn’t that what newspapers do in the summer? (or at least use to..). So really I’m only following a tradition..and all I can say is tiddly pom-pom pom!
