In the ‘pink’…so think pink!
Going against the miserable weather at the minute I found an idea to muse on…I don’t know if pink is ‘on trend’ as we speak…but it seems I can’t escape it…it’s ‘everywhere’ I go or look…there it is ‘taunting’ me not to think pink which is impossible if it’s on your mind! And sod’s law will make sure it’s there right in your face just incase you think you forgot…! Oh well might as well ‘embrace’ it…though it never has been a favourite colour of mine I thought it was always too ‘girly’ for me, though I did have a pink Charlie’s Angels T-shirt back in the day. Pink hair has been on trend for a while now and I managed to find one mannequin on the street as it were…with a pink wig and another mannequin with not one but two different pink looks wow!

Then I found pink glow-in-the-dark nails (yes just ‘ripe’ for Halloween coming up…) a very ‘unfashionable’ pink shopping bag but though of course if it’s that unfashionable it’s bound to be in fashion soon right? Also on the same day I came across a make-up bag and the Cancer research mannequin was suitably dressed in their signature pink.
pick up the pink to be ‘wedding’ ready…?
Although months away I found a very pretty ‘wedding ready’ pink flower hair decoration and came up with a matching clutch to suit. Then for that special evening out (like an awards ceremony – not that I’ve ever been to one…) I spotted a dramatic satin ‘diamond’ encrusted dress, diamante and satin shoes, a wing motif clutch bag with added bling! A lace bow that I don’t think will go with the outfit but well it’s pink at least…So I think I’ve challenged my ‘preconceived notions’ regarding pink some what…but well I have to say I’m not brave enough for the bold variety more of a ‘blush’ for me a ‘touch’ of pink will do I think…
when will I get invited to that special event…?
