It’s just…..50p!!
Well it’s very hard for lots of people at present, so it’s time to take stock and conserve what you have and try and not spend a penny…! (hmmm…well yes sorry for that pun but it just came out…!). What if you do need/want/desire absolutely have to buy something…like today I bought a make-up sponge new in the box at my local Charity Shop. I don’t really need it now, but may well in the future so for 50p I thought why not? I’m having to curb my budget like many affected by the current crisis throwing people’s finances into total chaos. On the upside (I know very hard to imagine…but you have to try) I checked out some of my 50p finds and well don’t think I’ve done too bad…and most are new = BNIB! Fashion finds? Oh yes! From fluttery eyelashes, fashion tape (can’t imagine like when…but you never know…) and glittery nails all for 50p!
I’ll be a ‘Lavender Lady’ any day at this price! Oh and I’m sure the eyelashes will come in handy for those ‘electric’ nights out! (v hopeful…!)
One of my favourite recent finds was a National Trust (yep!…no less…) unused Lavender roll on for just 50p and probably new cost at least £8…Also I found more lashes…vibrant colour ones too and also no…I don’t know when…maybe for that ‘electric’ night out when ever that will be….and for a whole makeover I discovered Revolutions ‘Love Conquers All’ make-up palette and also some Mylene Klass nail transfers and file. Thanks….I think…Mylene!
Love conquers all a great thought during these times and some zebra nails as we know it is a ‘jungle’ out there.
Aristoc ‘coriander’ vintage tights I really could not wear them, not because I don’t want to but it seems a shame to open them after all these years…! More of a museum piece to be honest (maybe I should start one?) also found a ‘Fail’ stamp sure I’ll find some use of that…unfortunately!

Finally a nice little pillbox from Venice (well I can pretend…as not much of a chance going there right now?) but a more hopeful destination from Torquay a key rack complete with temperature gauge and I don’t have to go all the way to Devon either. Though a day trip away at the moment might just do the trick…I can dream…this may all seem ‘trivial’ but you’ve got to find pleasure in the small things at the moment…and make the most of what you’ve got including items for just…50p! That’s if your lucky enough to find them!
