A ‘blue’ mood…
It was a ‘blue mood’ at the start of the year down at the charity shop, Stephanie was regaled in a violet blue ‘disc’ hat, a chunky pearl necklace, a black chiffon dress and scarf, and a single gold bangle. It was a simple yet sombre stance, muted colours successfully added a tonal range and feel to the proceedings. Celebrations of the new Year now a distant cry…its ‘vivid’ colours & sounds giving way to more ‘shadowy’ get refined calmness.
Stephanie was looking ‘super’ serene, her quiet presence omitted a tender chill of remembrance, as this is January, so named after the Roman god Janus, and like him at this time of year we are tempted to look back so we can turn around strongly and face the future. That is the beauty of this time of year, an opportunity for new beginnings, leaving behind what is not needed, what is not working. That is why I’m enjoying Stephanie’s ‘cool pared down’ hypnotic presence. So who’d of thought that a dull day at the charity shop, could bring calm to what could have been ‘chaos’?
