A Red ‘A-l-e-r-t’

It’s ‘all about’ the red, yep it’s a full ‘fashion alert’ though it won’t be the ‘new black’ it’s a colour that definitely stands out and makes a statement. It’s bold, courageous passionate and powerful. It it’s not easy to ignore (ask a bull…but that apparently is the movement not the colour…) anyway ‘reds the game’ this season. With that in mind, I found plenty locally to prove its influence has spread to my ‘humble’ out quarters…aren’t I blessed?

I started at the lower end though the red PVC skirt tops it!

Even several Charity shops have caught on phew…(a lot quicker than expected...) so here’s the ‘lowdown’ on what’s red ‘hot’ around here. As you will see I found no shortage of red…it was literally everywhere from the High street to my local Charity shop (where I noticed an awful lot of red shoes…hmmm…) to the cheaper lower end shops where you could buy a jumper for £5, or a trouser suit for a tenner, and with the red PVC skirt with the double zip…just for the brave only? I didn’t even look at the price…

Accessories were also a key feature and a way of adding red to your outfit without going the ‘whole hog’. Bags were a plenty so no problem there…though do you go high end or low? Or even bottom? Crimson tops be they jackets, blouse, or jumper the top half of your body was well ‘covered’ and let’s not forget the underneath…a racy red bra anyone?? I think I can safely say that I can easily acquire a ‘top to toe’ red look so desired, somehow though I don’t think that will be entirely necessary…

I think I've 'got this' red trend 'covered'…
