Coffee Cups….!
There’s one thing seeing disposable coffee cups on the ground outside, but abandoned INSIDE shops is this a new trend? Just left there alone dumped either on a clothing or display shelf. Obviously the ‘no food and no drink policy’ isn’t working in some retail establishments. And placed in ‘unexpected’ and ‘hidden’ places, making me wonder is this a product? Or…? I certainly had to do a double take at times. Litter is one of my pet hates, but this is a new phenomenon to me, and mildly amusing. Though it does bring into focus that non-disposable cups are definitely in the minority, (unfortunately for the planet). This retail coffee cups phenomenon is rather a mystery. I’ve only just started noticing it over the last couple of months, and I’ve taken a record of the ones I’ve come across. I’ve also been photographing the ones outside as well, they are everywhere…even dropped alongside bins….I mean why not put it in the bin? it is not that difficult, seriously…are people that lazy and irresponsible? Yep, I guess so. Ahhhh….I wonder what other litter I will come across inside shops this year…? It could be interesting….
