Don’t let it ‘rain’ on me…
On reviewing my new HFM magazine this week I was mightily surprised that rain bonnets, yes rain bonnets could be the thing to wear this season! After appearing on Christopher Kane’s A/W 16 catwalk show and collection, these particular rain bonnets were designed by ‘top hatter’ Stephen Jones, and a rather inspiring and interesting take he is done on them too!
They were in homage to Kane’s mother, and I think I can share that reference, as my mum did wear them when I was as a child, I can remember at the time…I was rather embarrassed. Either way, with summer fast disappearing, the ‘reappearing’ of the rain bonnet can be no bad thing, can it??
