From Catwalk to Catalogue….

When that familiar ‘thud’ sounded on my doormat I knew by the very ‘weight of it’s sound’ one of my trusty catalogues had arrived…it was time to make myself comfortable with a cup of tea & a tasty biscuit to discover the ‘delights’ inside..so excitedly I plundered on through this hefty ream of ‘useful items’ until I came to the fashion pages & on viewing & reviewing I hit on an idea – find the same/similar ‘like for like’ looks from the runway & so may I present a ‘compare & contrast’ from ‘Catwalk to Catalogue’….from the ‘high to the low’ in price & in style…

which do you prefer? 'JustMe' or Erdem?

The price points are certainly different in this fashion ‘posy’, with the dark background’s on both adding a lovely dimension & contrast to this floral array.

it's take to 'get down' & do the patch-walk..

Patchwork is ‘made easy’ with the transfer from quilts to trousers, a stylish & vibrant look. Making the most of ‘home styling’.

the advice is 'get the celeb look' from Charlotte Crosby from Geordie shore..hmmm not sure about that now...

Lace is a key look this season from copying a ‘celeb look’ (though maybe not in this case…) to getting ‘Gucci-ed up’ lace is ‘big big big’.

it's 'boho' both 'high' & low

Yes that 70’s vibe is still going strong…I posted about this key item the floppy hat here https://philippanestie.com/that-70s-thang-the-floppy-hat/ yep it’s still very popular & shows no sign of going anywhere soon so it’s hear! hear! & ‘hat’s off’ to the season favourite the floppy hat! (make it work!)

lace! again but inserted & made a real feature

Following on from a full lace look – to inserts an essential key trend, a lace hint here & there showing you know your ‘fashion file’, no-ones going to ‘trip you up’ in the fashion stakes with this style, from Kane geometric look to the fitted lace bodice by Lipsy London ‘love’ michelle keegan’ (not sure about that…though..what does she mean by ‘love’..hmm..trying to ‘get on our good side’…).

i'm 'bagging it' again with the choice of these 2 essential tote's

A bag in the hand is worth more than…ermm..’whatever in the bush’…no I’m not going ‘crazy’ yet but I hate to say it – it was ‘tote’s amaze’ time when I found a very similar bag in my catalogue to Diane Von Furstenberg’s trendy number. I’m ‘so lovin’ the price point’ on my catalogue Kangol..!

let's not forget the feet! think I may have it 'covered' loafer style

Now I’m not one to ‘loaf’ around when I found a good ‘replica’ of these Tod’s silver shoes featured in my catalogue’s shoe section. This would be a very daring look for Philippa – definately stepping outside of her ‘shoe box’….

a 'playsuit' get's fun for this 'daring duo'

This is a Philippa ‘fashion fantasy‘…never could I even dare to ware this racy number – the playsuit, it is ‘young & fun’, a confident look so no fashion ‘wall-flowers‘ need apply (and that includes me but for strictly ‘health & safety’ reasons…)

it's 'back to boho' - add some real drama by wearing a cape this season

These stylish cape’s will add a dramatic silhouette to that everyday look, from day to evening a cape will add mystery & ‘suspense’ + it will do a good job of keeping those shoulders warm & looking good! Oh yes!

'rise high' with some real 'heel appeal'

As the lower end brand state’s why don’t you just ‘Be You’ & go for it – in ‘high style’ with the choice of these 2 ‘high risers’ only the daring need apply (& yep that’s not me...heel’s & Philippa just don’t go…unfortunately…but well I can fantasize can’t I?)

take a 'jump start' with either of these stylish jump-suits..

Get playful this season with an all in one stylish jumpsuit either of these looks will insure you will make an entrance with ‘impact‘.

it's 'back to lace' with these 2 beauties..‘Going back to the lace’..I love these 2 looks just wish I was young again…

the Chloe bag look certainly get's around

My final look show’s ‘bag’s of appeal’ under the Chloe bag influence, it’s compact, stylish & bang on trend ..though you may have to check the ‘price point’ first! That’s all for my ‘fashion round up’ see you next time!
