‘Gillet, Gillet’ – it’s time to ‘fur up’ now…

It’s warm and it’s cosy and it’s fashionably ‘posy’ it’s a fake fur jacket with no sleeves, it’s a Gillet! And why am I bringing this up now?  Well..because..in my town and the surrounding areas, you literally can’t move for seeing them..they have almost become a ‘uniform’ even toddlers are wearing them! Though I will not..as they are just not very ‘Philippa’ and it is a bit ‘nonsense’ to me..‘wot no sleeves’?? it's 'Bold and brash' with the velvet crush...Sorry…but I do not like having cold arms, of course you can ‘layer up’, and that is what others are doing, but for a lady such as ‘meself’ like, they are just not for me..though that does not stop me admiring them from a far..and has my pictures here prove there is more than sufficient choice in colours and textures, though to note burgundy seems to be the colour to go with this season. It's burgundy burgundy all the way this season!Still I am not tempted, to be honest I think I would look ‘stupid’ in a gillet & while you’re at it..you might as well throw in some ‘Ugg-type’ boots into the mix..it just wouldn’t work. So I’m afraid I can’t jump on this ‘gillet bandwagon’ and look like everyone else around here..though I do love fake fur and it is ‘big’ this season, you can see it on gloves, bags, and Pom Pom’s of course, but still I cannot make that jump into the ‘fake fur atmosphere’, this is a uniform that unfortunately I will not be ‘donning’ in this season, will you?my catalogue option matches the Primark one, both quite snugly..

And now for the mini versions..why should the kid's miss out?

I also spotted a black version, look's good with the Khaki..

And finally it's back to Primark for the dusty pink version though what is going on with that mannequin's hand, really?
