Naff ‘nough for you??
From ‘Bags of Inspiration’ the other week to the trend of ‘uplifting’ quotes and obvious statements for the home with the words wait for it…such as ‘home’, ‘love’, ‘bath’, ‘relax’ etc have made a worrying presence in interior decoration of recent times. Along with ‘basket weave’ hearts (you must of seen those?) and canvas prints (usually truly awful..) is there no stopping this I wonder? It could be said to hark back to the ‘Home Sweet Home’ cross stitch samplers which although appearing ‘innocent’ could be I found a bit sinister at times. Though to have cut out letter blocks saying ‘home’ and ‘love’ is in my mind truly naff. What about ‘toilet’ and ‘bin’ or ‘rubbish’? Not seen any of those around…so here is my local ‘lowdown’ of interior ‘inspiration’…need I say more ? I don’t think so….somehow…
There is more a lot more…but I can’t take anymore and inflict this on you or anyone…but I do have one parting comment…
