Neon Neon, everywhere…

Neon niceforget pastels this Spring! If you head down to your local High Street you will not be able to move without coming across some neon…either a whole colour block, or more successfully (in my humble opinion) neon accents with a stripe or a trim, or even a pom pom ‘here and there’. Neon is where it’s at this Spring, so don’t ‘hold back’ with this strong colour attract! (or attack??) From bright pink, lime green, burnt orange to acid yellow, no Spring outfit will be complete without this head-turning slice of acid house. You won't have to look hard to find some neon this Spring oh no! In my previous post my ‘style on trial’ I did literally dip my toes in this fun Spring look with my neon pink fluffy mules, though it’s not for the faint of heart…so maybe I’ll take a step back (quite literally..and hopefully not fall over..whoops!). From the ‘high’ (Stephen Jones hats) to the ‘low’ (the £5 shop) this colour streams across the fashion spectrum. Maybe you want to give it a go in a small way? May I suggest neon socks? From the high to the low neon 'unites all'You can then be ‘in step’ with this hot Spring trend without shouting “I’m wearing neon” “hello!” For the braver what about a comfy tracksuit top with large pockets via also the £5 shop? (plus large pockets are very useful this season..for a change..). And for the truly brave an acid yellow bikini (worn ‘traditionally’…as it were…it would only work with a tan) but why not buck that trend? Rebel! And just not bother with any ‘golden bronzing’? I say give it a miss! (Don’t they say pale is ‘interesting’? And dark ‘mysterious’..?)With this hot trend you want need to worry about colour 'clashing!' So why not ‘reach out’ and grab a nice neon clutch bag and get your athleisure box ticked this season with a tracksuit highlighted with a nice neon ‘brocade’ trim or whatever (just make sure its neon – tick!). Then step into some great colour popped sandals? Either way I think it’s encouraged me not to ‘be afraid’ but well…I may just stick with socks and a pompom instead..(Obviously I am not brave at all…are you??)
