Now I’m one of the ‘Aristocracy’…

On my many trips to the various charity shops I invariably came across a very useful item, namely packets of unopened tights, the ex-owners loss is my gain in this ‘game if tights’…they can come from different decades styles & colours but in this I am certainly a winner with them costing on average just 50p a pop! So I was more than heartened to find on one of my recent ramblings the crème de la crème of the tights ladder! That of Aristoc yes that high quality brand that still makes tights & has done since the 1920’s, all I can say is I was more than pleased with this find!

The tights in question portraying their perfection..

The style I came across are called Grosvenor in the shade ‘peach bloom’, the picture on the packet shows a beautiful blonde model relaxing on a chaise lounge in front of a large window that looks like it’s over looking a garden. As though she’s away for the weekend staying at a large country house, able to relax & be ‘at her leisure’, there certainly seems to be no hurry or rush. Yet with her manicured nails & full make up she’s ‘on pointe’ ready for any visitors whether they be male or female, & she is holding a key fashion item of the 1970’s – the floppy hat, but this one has a fun feather boa adding a very playful touch. Maybe she is ready to attend that garden party & indulge in some pims? & if so, why not? (I know I would if I could, a weekend getaway would be most welcome!) & if I’m wearing my Aristoc Grosvenor peach bloom tights maybe I’ll be ready for any situation & able to mix with the real ‘Aristocracy’??

An 'Aristocratic' outfit that could go with my tights??

Aristoc is a 'sister' to that other well known brand Pretty Polly
