Shpock? Think I’d rather do the real but…

So regarding boot sales I have decided to go digital with Shpock the ‘boot sale’ app, which I discovered a few years ago and have actually bought and sold a few things. I really like browsing through it, as it has so many random items that just seem to ‘pop up’. I would say describing ‘boot sale’ in reference to Shpock must be used loosely as the items on here are generally a lot more expensive than going to a real boot sale in my experience. It’s more akin to the eBay but without the high eBay fees which is a bonus! So I’ve listed three items today all vintage, one the Christian Dior wig that I could not sell on eBay! A ‘weird’ cigarette case that yep…I picked up at a real boot sale and a set of vintage egg cosy’s will anyone use them these days? (Maybe I would if I opened that retro B&B I have in my head…hmmm…). So we’ll see if I get any takers LOL!

love the ‘landlady’ bag but maybe give the Mrs Brown outfit a miss…?

Maybe the egg cosy’s could go with the vintage crochet handbag described as ‘landlady style’ a description I just love! What if I got dressed up as Mrs Brown in the fancy dress outfit I found? = very scary! Especially when serving breakfast…! (perish the thought..). Or maybe a Victorian style skirt if I decided to change the theme of my B&B? Also I found a Gothic vintage black dress if I were to opt a bit more of a ‘Hammer Horror’ style and a cat on a bag (not out of the bag..!) just to clash with it for the weirdness of it…All I know is it’s fun ‘taking a scroll’ on Shpock…it passes the time these days especially when getting up for a boot fair is just not an option!
